The Princess Diaries - Book vs Movie
The Book
Princess Diaries 1
I think the book had more detail and was more enjoyable as it gave more information aas to behind everything and was easy to follow and understand.
Princess Diaries 2
The book had a different storyline to the movie. I liked how it advanced on with the Michael/Mia relationship.
The Movie
Princess Diaries 1
Excluded alot of the detail from the book, but added alot of its own, eg. Lana singing Stupid Cupid, which kind of made up for it.
Princess Diaries 2
The Movie had it's own storyline, but became a bit ongoing when Mia goes for Nicholas instead of Michael
The Winners

The winner is the movie for being only slightly more enjoyable, although it was a close one.....

The winner would have to be the book as it has a more sensible story line instead of the all-over-the-place movie.

This is a blog dedicated to one thing and one thing only; Meg Cabot and her brilliant books! Being a young writer and bookworm whose dream is to become an author, I have found Meg Cabot the most inspirational author i have come across. The first four books of the Princess Diaries were the first I read of hers, bought as a set, when i was eight. Since then, if had kept a log of the books i read, at least 80% would be Meg Cabot's books. My favourites include:
